I think one of the best comments I have seen about that volcano was on Steve Week's FB- In paraphrase: "Why doesn't someone just put a bloody giant hoover bag over than darn volcano!"

I've got a week off from travel but I'm scheduled to fly to the US a week on Monday. Here's hoping I don't get ashpocalypsed then - I must book a refundable hotel room that night just in case. At least the flight's on a 777 which has the range to go round if necessary, not the 757s whose flights are being cancelled all over the place at the moment.
