Teaching, Day 1

I only had my after school classes today; I was supposed to have the sixth graders today during regular school hours, but apparently they don't start until tomorrow. There are three after school classes, 1st to 3rd grade, with about 6-8 kids per class. Which doesn't sound so bad, but they also have the shortest attention spans ever and can't seem ( Read more... )

Aw, man, I cooed and squeed the entire time reading this post. I'm such a sucker for kids. XD

It's bad of me, but I tried to rig the game a little so Nick was one of the winners. :( He was frowning a lot the entire class and seemed a little upset because he couldn't understand a thing, and he was really happy when he won in the end. Which made me really happy, idk. :( I'm a sap.
I would've done the same thing. Kids will learn soon enough that life is tough and often unfair so if I could even up the playing field and give the disadvantaged kids a bit of an edge, I'd do it too. I think it was really kind of you. :D

and god, you're nice. don't feel bad about rigging the game and everything! at least you made one little boy happy and the rest don't really seem to be too upset over losing, right? (:
