I think I've reached a saturation point with my gaming. Usually I'm a board hound, a forum follower, and an active poster. Lately, I can't seem to care.

Now, I don't think this is a bad thing, mind you, I just find it unusual. I think the vast overload of other crap I've had to do as of late has been a factor. Hobbies should not consume too much ( Read more... )

Actually I know how you feel , at least with the overloaded part. When I finished being on plot with Legacies , I realized that I needed a break from the game. Dealing with Ig and oog stuff of the game as a whole had left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Plus I was running a Shadowrun game too. While i had no complaints about the SR game(actually it was pretty fun) The same feelings did seem to bleed over on to it. The weird thing is that for me MT did help break some of that . I figure it was reallY just a change of "scenery" that helped me and some time off. so don't worry you're not alone.

Any time that you start to get bleed over between IG and OOG on any level beyond being excited for the next game than it is time to pull back and re-center yourself.

For my own selfish reasons I am glad that you don't think it will be necessary to stop gaming to deal with this, but if it ever did come to that then I am sure that all of your friends who really care about you would understand, even though they would miss having you to game with.
