Although I do agree that current meat production and consumption are out of control and damaging, that will not stop me from eating meat.
My argument is that the government should no longer subsidize meat production, and we should allow it's cost to rise to the appropriate level. Along with that, perhaps a campaign educating people about appropriate portioning.
