I’m hoping to be volunteer next year ( I’m saving money, searching flights, hotels, and so on, for almost 2 years), which will be my first time going to San Diego/California.

1. No some volunteers cosplay... it depends how restrictive your costume is and what your job is. Room monitoring and line wrangling are common volunteer gigs

About my cosplay, it would be likely "pseudo-cosplay", since, probably, I won't have all the clothes, but still, I'll do the makeup anyway in one of the 4 days. So I think it won't have any problems, or will have?

1. You may not be able to cosplay while volunteering, because they need volunteers to be recognizable to anyone with a question, but you can definitely cosplay when your shift is over

Did you see that volunteer registration is open for Comic-Con?

Oh, I forgot to tell, I was somehow approved to an earlier registration, and I'm already in. I entered in the Member ID area, saw a sign of the Volunteer Registration, filled the form, accepted the conditions, and then when I finished, I received a email saying I was accepted as volunteer.
I still don't know what made me to be accepted in this earlier registration, which occurred between January 29 and February 4. Maybe I had luck?
