A sweet, quiet fic. I liked this description--I could picture it so clearly, and it shows the multi-faceted nature of Sam.

She looked so comfortable, wrapped in a blanket, hands peaking under and wrapped around the warmth of the liquid. She looked… peaceful. Not at all like the Colonel who had been ordering two junior officers to a retrieval mission as she handed them extra ammo.

Gah! Chris! I loved it...then when don't I love something you've written? I especially like their slight awkwardness.

“I think,” Sam started. “I think it’s called love.”

Daniel met her eyes, bright and blue with a hidden anticipation he had not seen in a long time. “I think you are right.”

To me that just shows them, pure and simple. Love is something that's foreign, and they always get a little awkward and geekish over it :)

I'm so glad they found their way together through that spell of 'just friends.' :-) Left me feeling very peaceful and happy for them. And It had become a popular “sport” among the teammates of SG-1 to critic the TV shows and documentaries that aired regarding their field of expertise -- I so believe that! :-)

*g* glad you liked it! It was a lot of fun to break throgh the "spell" and have them finally tell each other their secret. Of course I am just as much of a melting fool as they are when it comes to them!! How could they not be critics after all they have seen!!

This was such a sweet fic - especially with the two of them just sitting together and chatting. It's one of those quiet moments that we don't often get to see on the show.
