Summary: Sam and Daniel are stranded on a planet, which leads them to building a life together in their new home.
A/N: This story was written for groovekittie for the sd_ficathon. She wanted a story with Sam and Daniel being trapped by a buried gate, and I finally came up with something that I just had to write. It's very angsty and kind of sad, so you may need some tissues, but it does have a happy ending. :)
This is the second version of what I was writing based on the prompt I received. I was nearly done with the first version when I realized that it had a feature in it that groovekittie specifically did not want (namely a character death), so I went back in and rewrote the ending in order to give her the fic she asked for. groovekittie I apologize profusely for not paying more attention to the fine print in the first place. :) I hope you enjoy it.
