Apparently, I've grown 2 inches!? Yesterday I was sure I was 5'2"; today, I'm 5'4". This is really messing with my head, and ego.

I found this out through debate with Emma, the other PhD student in my lab, who is 5'3", and shorter than me. I tried the piece of string, wardrobe and ruler test of height (repeatedly because I didn't believe the result ( Read more... )

LOL!! Of course you can still grow when you are about that age :) You may not even have stopped now. But your ego may have to accept that you have! *giggle* Keep measuring!!

No my ego refuses to accept it! I shall continue to grow until I am of average height! Although, maybe I am already there now.. :D

Maybe one day I will be tall. With added short-person powers of climbing furniture to reach things. And then I shall rule the world! ...somehow. Muahahaha! :D

Well I'm 5'4" and I always that that was the average height, but everyone calls me short *pout* I like the idea of having short-person powers though :-)

Aww *hugs*
You're under 5'2? That's harsh. I have enough trouble with shelving and craning my neck at tall people even at my extreme height.
Still, you never know, you might have grown like me since you last measured! You should double-check ;)

I'm definitely well under 5'2 :( I barely make the 5'0 mark. It has its perks though - help in the supermarket, etc etc.
