I kind of thought it was a neat day for Nathaniel's birthday.

her name was J--. I had had a crush on her for over a decade, and I was pretty head over heels in love with her, but only briefly. She freaked out and cut off all contact after about 3 weeks. Couple months later I met A--, who I fell for even harder. She dumped me hard the week before the apartment burned down. Made getting dropped by J-- a tiny thing in comparison.

is still a neat day for a birthday. Very memorable. Er, remember-able :)
