Ok finally, as promised i will do an update on Prom and Tempest. Both have been great fun, and I can't wait til next year's prom and this week's Tempest performances!
Prom: I was one of the few prom goers who was actually still at school by last period, but finally, class ended, and i ran home to get ready. Since this yr wasnt really my prom yr, i decided to save the big dress shopping, hair, makeup apptments til next yr with Rach! I decided to wear a royal blue ballroom skirt i made a couple years ago, and a pretty blue lace top with a fabric panel in the front but just the lace in the back. after washing my hari and battling with it for a while, figuiring waht to do with it, i finished everything, and went dwonstairs to wait for the limo. (ok semi-long story attached, but yea i went in the limo with jason and sonia, nick and maddie, and jonathan) around 7ish they got to my house out in Kensington, aka middle of nowhere. we had tons of fun with the guys singing, the grils gossiping and everyone having fun on the way to the city. Dinner reservation was at 8, and we hat a lovely dinner at a restaurant close to the westin St. Francis. at about 9:15, we finished up our delicious dinner and hilarious conversations and headed over to Prom. Long story short, everyone looked great, some slightly tipsy teachers made for an interesting night, the music was great, and I had a great time there hanging out with "the group" (erica, jonathan, katie b, julie, sarah, nicolette, and howie) and everyone else! i have to put in a word about Jonathan's kilt! Totally amazing, very courageous, and he could definitely say that he knew no one would show up in the same outfit! There were many different songs and types of music to keep everyone happy, i def. was sad, epecially during the outkast songs and Milkshake cause rach(my other half) wasnt there, but next yr'll be even more awesome! When Prom ended at like 12:10ish, earlier than expected, the limo headed back acorss the bay with some sleepy, some singing, and some just plain hyper passengers, but it was another memorable trip. If i ha'vent said so yet, i CANNOT WAIT til next year, and this year's was definitely a great time.
Ok switching gears,
Tempest: ok im not going to point any fingers, or blame or be unkind in this. Basically, we were supposed to be in the Spac practicing and building our set about 2 or 3 weeksa ago, but many different circumstances contributed to the fact that we have only recently gotten in there and built anything. Despite these and other setbacks, our runthrought have been going well, it will definitely be an AWESOME show! everyone should go see it on thursday, friday, or saturday night at 7! You will definitley see familiar faces as well as some new ones onstage, all are wonderful in there parts, and the set is somthing i've never before seen in a bentley show! See all of you there!
Finally, a quick word to the Global lunch! omg that was sooooo fun! so many different kinds of food, all sooooo good, i can def. see why people look forward to it! we should do those putluck type lunches with the whole school! do u even know how awesome that would be? woww, lol ok i know im a little overexcited about it but im definitely a foodie, possibly and aspiring resataurant critic, and you will find me without question in the food film and fiction elective in the winter trimester! Also, i have heard quite good things about Ms Ting, the new english teacher (speacking of english electives) form my friend at Lik Wilmerding which is where Ms. Ting currently teaches.
Lol ok this'll DEFINTELY be an LJ cut, looking back at it. ok well i'll try to start updating more, especially about how the shows go!
