Yeah, it is sort of weird that a little kid wrote that story. But I bet he probably was affected by what's happening in the world, and telling the story was probably a way for him to deal with it. Also, boys just come up with really weird stories (they like violence and that sort of stuff, I have no idea why).

OMG HAVE YOU SEEN THE PICTURE OF CHARLES?!?

Somehow I doubt he got that from his parents telling him what they read in the newspaper. That's just not the sort of thing you tell a little kid. I know when I was 3 I had no idea that we were at war, so I don't know if he would either. Then again, this war is kinda a MUCH bigger deal than #1. I bet he read a fairytale in school or something though. It's interesting to watch how kid's mind's develop at such an early age...after all we've learned about fairytales and their hidden meanings, here's another kid who's inevitably going to conform to what the fairytales teach him, only to relearn in highschool what it actually taught him to grow up like...

You're right. If I had a kid, I would never read it fairytales.

Fairy tales arent so bad, they need to be taken not as a plan for life, but as a guide. Men in our society have lost all concept of helping women, and finding the right woman. Fairy tales arent so bad, and the complete rejection of folk tales loses us a view into the old ways.

true, this particualr story just surprised me since the 4 year old kid had such an apocoplyptic, pessimistic outlook on life. he predicted two huge wars and finally a third war where everyone, men women and children had to fight and everyone died.. it just surprised me coming from a kid who doesnt read write or draw yet.
