Today was a good day. It started painfully. One of my wisdom teeth (I only have 3) pushed further up and my gum is really sore. I'm fortunate they're coming in straight, but they still hurt *now* and then. Amber, Vicki, and I went to the SE side of the Mytoges (south of the canyons) to check out bedrock. Today was the so-called "canyon day." 3 teams went up the 3 canyons on the east side of th Mytoges - Pole, Ivie and Splatter canyons. Danielle, Amber, and I were tasked to go up Ivie Canoyon - Shorter than Pole but longer than Splatter (but without the bushwhacking). I did a lot of GPS stuff this morning. I helped set up the kinematic GPS base station. Then the whole morning I had the rover strapped to my back and the big antenna/control unit in mky arms.
