This has much promise, but with any con-man job, it's always about the character interaction, people outsmarting each other. I am looking forward to some of that in this setting.

That's the goal. Desamours lives and dies either by being overestimated by the powerless and underestimated by the powerful. Thus, the interaction's a big part of this.

At the end, though, it's all muscle in the dark.
