Ok so I went out and made a bit of an impulsive buy (though it could've been worse!). I bought myself a GeForce6600GT w/ 128 GDDR3. I was going to go with the ATi x800XL but it was $100 more and the difference isn't even that noticable (like 4 more Pipelines, but then again for that price I could have a GeForce6800GT Ultra with the same pipelines ( Read more... )

You should have gotten the new GeForce 7800 GTX (AGP Edition) it has 256MB of GDDR3 and 16 Pixel Pipelines!

Best of all it is only around $300.

I really didn't want to spend more than $200 though =[. I plan on building a new gaming system this year anyway and I want to use a 7800GTX PCI-E card.

Though that price really isn't bad and the card is fucking awesome.

Dammit Joe now I'm probably going to end up getting one and its all your fault. My wallet hates you. Alot. ^_^

DUde is that the GS or the GT? The GS has only 12 Pixel Pipelines so make sure. I mean at least its the OC version so its totally worth it, but you might want to make sure about the pipelines.
