Hey guys and gals, I thought I'd have a go at writing a blog post since I've not done it since the end of July. Which was a blog saying about stuff and my Grandma's funeral. Probably not the best post to leave up, hmm

You might be able to salvage the fan by unpeeling the sticker on the top partway and adding some lubricating oil to the bearing (it should seep in), then putting it back on again.

Me and Dad have put that card into a machine downstairs, it works much better in there as I found out that the Linux driver for that version of card (amongst others) keeps the fan running at full speed constantly. So it's much happier in a barely used windows machine.
