Rebuild of Evangelion 1.01: You are (not) alone

Watching this film, I found myself reminded of the fact that Evangelion, for all its warts and flaws (and it has them), is one of the only animated series to ever rise above mere entertainment and be deserving of the term "art." It would be even better if it showed the boy with no penis discovering he DOES have a penis by Kaworu messing with it. :D

Honestly, it may not be that graphic, but I definetely get the feeling that's a storyline that's going to be explored a bit more in Rebuild, or at least defined more explicitly by Anno. And besides, Rei was stupid naked in this thing, so I rather expect a similar level of nakedness from Shinji at some point.

I remember reading somewhere that there's an official manga where it is explored a bit, and Shinji admits to being attracted to Kaworu. I think that's the one where Kaworu fixes Shinji's hyperventilating by kissing him. I have the pages, of course! :D If it could be explored even more, I'd be quite happy. I figure Shinji's bisexual, since he was like all masturbate-y over Asuka, but he loves him some Kaworu. :3

Downloaded from the interwebs. No one has picked up the license to release the the thing stateside yet, though apparently the license is expensive, so expect a major company like Warner or Sony to grab this one, and maybe actually release it in a few theatres.
