(no subject)
To those who are also avoiding spoilers, swear with me: I will not read any comments on any post, ever.
Because we in this fandom are lawless hooligans; we treat all comment threads as those of spoiler posts. At least I, the mistress of this saloon, will delete any comment here that is spoiling. I'm working on the dancing girls and poker.
So I read stele3's fics finally. Holy shit. *blinks* I haven't enjoyed reading something that much in...uh. I don't remember when. I am keeping those printouts and will read them again. Oh, yes.
I want very badly to have some recurring new characters in season two. Like Bobby types. I'm tired of hearing about other people, only to see them die--or meeting them and never seeing them again.
I want some characters who can do more, who we can find out more about. Girlfriends, other hunters, all that. And I want more fics about the non-Winchesters we have already (and more good OCs are always awesome). I read a very cool story yesterday, post 'Devil's Trap' with Bobby and Dean: Dark Side of the Moon by koyote19. I want more like that, I guess. I love my Winchesters, I do, and I love seeing them play off others.
Between the spoilers I'm not reading, the fics, and the damn music I keep buying I'm really wanting season two to hurry its ass up. I just...want it. Somewhere closer to now.
--And the music? It's getting more mullet-y every time I visit BestBuy. But I like just about everything so the random Ac/DC fits in. And my mother says things like "Isn't that an old band?" when I'm in line with my new Kansas CD. I'm thinking, Gee, need I remind you what show I watch? Seems I do, but I think she's starting to get it on her own.
Mom and I missed 'Home' last week, and they skipped 'Hookman' and 'Bugs' so we got lots to watch. But as anyone who's got my personal LJ knows, my family has Stuff this week. Nice clothes to buy (annoying), person to burn and scatter. Just another week for a Winchester. Us, not so much. But we'll make time for our boys when we can.
But as I was saying, season two can come the fuck on. Some days I'm THIS close to just reading the damn spoilers so I don't have to wonder. I won't.
And I won't hit my brother when he says "The car's totaled, Barb, it's GONE!" 'cause what the fuck does he know? The show isn't "good enough" for his sorry ass or something, he doesn't even watch.
--Dang, I should tell him to take pics of Arizona for inspiration. 'Tween the desert and the cult compounds, it's a fic in the making. Or maybe someone could use the pics for graphics. Or maybe my head is still stuck in "The 1300 Days" and I only wanna see the place. *G*
And if anyone has any reccs for the other characters, or for great OCs, I'd love to have 'em. I only have 24 in my Other Characters heading in my memories.
Oh, and I finally got some more links on this oh-so-useful layout. Take a look, or don't. I tend to assume I'm the only one looking, but it'd be cool if others found some use out of it.
