It's finishing a really, really fun fic (Of Bastard Saints), then refreshing the flist to find a new chapter of Synthetic and an icon post from Carmen.

That is an awesome day. Made all the better by my kickass AC, and my sweet little bunny Faye hopping around the living-room. (God, I hope she doesn't piss on the hardwood

Me too. I have the latest bit all printed and waiting for me to read... *bounce* I'm saving it for a bit. Like candy.
And I'm re-reading 1300 Days to keep me sane.
As it's going, I won't ever read another book. Just fics, all the time. :-D

LOL...I got into fanfic in college because I couldn't afford to support my book reading habit via stores (i've always sucked at library usage).

Haven't heard from her yet. I'll be calling her tonight to see what's up. HOpefully it's an accident or maybe she's doing it so she can focus on school for a couple of weeks.

I have so many books, and so few read. But yeah, fics are SO much cheaper. Though if I keep up with the printing, maybe not so much. I'll just buy cheap paper and hope my crazy printer keeps itself together.
And a bunch of fanzines are being worked on, I hear. I do hope some are worth it; I love being able to carry around fics.

I'm reading it right now. *is happy* It's awesome, and long, and I think that might be the first time "prostrate" has been used correctly anywhere near a slashy porny story. ;-P

*g* Yours there is quite lovely, too.

It's one of my pet peeves. As in, I laugh like a madperson whenever I see it misused. *snigger* Why the world needs eagle-eyed beta-readers. (That's my other big pet peeve--seeing a story where a beta is thanked and then going on to see something that looks like no-one ever read it. Even when it was being written. *shakes head*)
