For those of you who have had jobs before, I was wondering: How does one quit before one has had an actual work day and has everything already filled and waiting for the first day

Call them as soon as you can and just tell them that you got a better job and that you hope they find someone else to fill the position.

Just tell them that you have a scedualing conflict and can't take the posistion. They'll understand, and if they don't, well, you don't work for them, so there!!! :D
