Your vids were one of the major inspirations for me to to begin vidding nearly a year ago. :) I'd been a longtime viewer of vids, but I had never stumbled across anything so astonishing as your vids at the time - I'm thinking particularly of some of your less recent work, such as "The Greatest" - and a good number of your SGA and BSG vids. Until that point, I thought vids were kinda cheesy and fun, more or less. Your vids showed me that vids could be so much more - they could provoke and emotional response, get me to think, or just re-invent a story I thought I'd been familiar with.

Some of your more recent vids establish strongly your sense of voice and style and even though sometimes, I honestly don't always agree with them, or find them strange (the newest Merlin one? excellent work, but very strange to me), I do so appreciate the innovation and grace you bring to your projects and how you consistently re-invent (that word again) a story to the point where I feel like I am watching something I have never even seen before.

You are probably the best example why vidding is so amazing. To inspire someone with your work??? I mean what a reward!

I have a feeling I know who you are due to a comment on the Merlin vid that was very similar to this :P, but still, I can't thank you enough for all you've said. :)

You're my vidding idol! (... that's going to sound really creepy in anon, isn't it. :P) I love how you make well-used footage your own, how you make your own narratives. You bring so much depth to every show you vid.

Also, you're the only person I can think of who would vid Merlin, of all things, to something from 'Amnesiac', AND do it brilliantly, and for that alone you win many prizes!

No no, not excessively creepy at all. ;) But I have a feeling I know who you are, or at least suspect someone based on that Amnesiac comment. But also yay to Radiohead! Sometimes the best vids come from a smoosh of two opposites. So Merlin with srs bsns music makes a tasty vid. ;)

Thank you so much for you comment. I am very inspired by what you've said. I'm actually grinning!

Your vids are always so gorgeous, visually, but some of what I like best about them is the music. I don't think I've ever seen you post a vid that has an "obvious" music choice, nor do I think I've ever seen any two vids of yours that feel the same (as in using the same effects or the same style or what have you). It's not that you reinvent yourself, it's just that you seem to approach each vid as its own entity with its own storytelling needs.

In other words, you rock.

I think I could kiss you for this comment. (Reveal thyself to meeeee! :P) Music is SUCH an important part of a vid imo that usually it's the first part of the vid. Meaning I tend to get vid ideas from hearing a song 99% of the time more than me going, "Oh I need to vid so and so, lemme find a song." And each particular song calls for a particular way it wants the story to be told. So I'm extremely thankful that you appreciate the very specific choices in that regard. THANK YOU!

I still think "Boulevard of Broken Songs" is probably the best vid I've ever seen. EVER.

You know, I think the stars just aligned for that vid. Fandom really needed something like that at the time and I'm so thrilled you still find it strong today. Thanks so much! :)

Your vids have gotten me into so many fandoms I've lost count. YOU'RE SUCH AN ENABLER. Apart from that, your skill at weaving together the perfect clips and music amazes me every time. Each vid tells such a complete story and always with such heart, even when they're supposed to be light of heart. :) I'd even go so far as to say that some of your vids induce more feeling and are more thought provoking that the shows you're borrowing from...which is why the end up on my ipod. Your style keeps evolving and I'm always so excited to see what you create next!
