I think it interesting that many digital films are gradually eliminating the need for a real live author

But at least for the time being, someone needs to create that interaction, even if that means creating the software or application to do so. I would like to believe nothing narrative will ever be completely done by machine. If it did would the human qualities of narratives be totally compromised?
