Tried to re-create Nana's Doughnuts today. They came out great, but not like hers, which were awesome and so dense that they drew all available light or something.

We also blew up the tiny deepfryer and had to finish in a fry pan on the stove.

Will have to do this again sometime. You just can't buy doughnuts like this at a store.

Really, only you could blow up a deep fryer. Awesome.

Said deepfryer was ungrounded and from the 70s. We never used it a lot, but it finally overheated itself and gave up the ghost.
