Imagine waking suddenly at 12:30 am to the sound of small furry animals reenacting a Jackie Chan movie in your bedroom. Last we knew, Nike was the only four-legged in the house, and she could have just been energetically tossing a toy around -- but when we heard the squeaks, the lights went on. I certainly did. Luckily, last night was quieter!

BTW, we had a beautiful afternoon in Stanley Park yesterday.

I think the only reason the squirrel lived is because Nike kept it alive in case sea_dark_wine and I wanted to play with it. I suspect she caught it in some other part of the house and brought it into the bedroom for us. She's such a thoughtful girl.
