It's good to hear you're doing well. I'm in Portland now! In fact, last Thursday, I was at the Alberta street fair thingy. When do you work? I'll come visit!
(PS any chance your coffee shop is hiring? I want a job!)
Yay! Yeah, we should definitely catch up! I work at Airplay Cafe on 7th and Burnside.
I'm thinking of quitting soon, so if that happens I'll definitely put in a good word for you. It's not a bad place to work at all. It's just not for me.
Ew, LA? Sorry, I've just heard bad things about moving out there on a whim :-p. Including the price of living there...? But if you go for it, I really wanna hear what you think
( ... )
Yeah, I'm actually going to start working as an admin assistant this Thursday because my housemate tells me it's a hell of a lot easier than food service. I really don't think that's going to make me feel any more productive, but at least the pay is better and I'll have time to apply to other jobs.
I'll keep you updated on the LA front. I think Portland and I are going to go through some marriage counseling and we're going to try to make it work, before I cut out for LA. But I need to at least open myself up to the possibility that the easiest path to film is straight through LA.
I'm half-heartedly thinking about film school, but I'm not really considering grad school in any serious way. I'm enjoying pleasure reading too much for that.
