His eyes had widened in shock and partly fear, having woken from a rather unpleasant dream involving the voice he had heard in the forest, but once he was staring up into the grinning eyes of his best friend, the fear seemed to turn into a quick memory.
Relaxing his body, he let his breath out and nodded, eventually grinning against the other boy's hand. "What are we doing?" he asked, though the words were still muffled.
He would've laughed if he wasn't trying so hard to be quiet.
"Snack shops count as real food?" he asked, quietly amused and grinning broadly. "There's a diner down the block and erm," he paused to think, "a shop going the other way...I think."
"Further than that," Seamus told him quietly, finally lowering his hand. "We want a walk, we do, and some good junk food at the end of it. Is there nothing about... I don't know, four or five blocks away?"
