Uh-oh. I have a little bit of a problem on my hands. It is not a huge problem, and it affects no one but myself, but I still do not know what to do. A few people know this problem, such as Sean, Jim, and Katelyn, and I have gotten mixed reactions from it. It might not even be a problem, for it could turn into a really good thing, but currently ( Read more... )

The Elected put on an amazing show. I saw them out in Chicago like a month ago, and they blew me away. I saw the Magic Numbers open for Bright Eyes twice in the fall, and they are tons of fun live. Therefore, I am sorry to hear you will be unable to attend such an amazing show.

Did JL play like three new songs at that show? One of the new songs they played in Philly was better than any off their album.

You know where I stand on the first part of this. You need to STOP THIS SHIT. It took you so long to get over it, and now you just need to think real deep and hard about all of the shit that you've gone through previously to get to where you were pre-florida. Nothing will ever happen, so don't even try it.

Find another nice girl. For the love of god, man. Sometimes I think you are more of an idiot with this shit than I am.

I am more of an idiot than you are with this. I, at least, don't try to force myself into not caring by having sex with three people in a week, like some people I know who tried to get over an ex. Jim and I were talking yesterday, and I made the analogy of putting your hand in the fire. I've grown numb to the pain of it, so I keep doing it because I figure maybe this time something cool will happen. For me, this is the top-tiered Italian restaurant, and I'm willing to wait in line until there is a table available. I sampled what they had to offer, fell madly in love with the product, and I want more, and I am willing to wait in-line, regardless of the weather, and hope they'll let me back in to have another meal. It's one of those restaurants where it's well worth the wait, even if it takes two+ years.

Ouch. ZZZZZZing.

Hey, I didn't set out to do what I did when i went home, but it fell into place and it has helped me a lot. I still think about her a lot, but it just put a lot of shit back into perspective for me. And if i had it to do all over again, i still would.

And you need to stop embracing your stupidity. Get over it. Move on. Stop all forms of communication. Don't do anything more than what you've done. If it's supposed to be, then you would have known and things would have fallen into place last week.

But that's not the case.

Again, I say, GET OVER IT.

Brian, you need to forget this meal and get over this problem. I just had a nice fight/discussion with my old bitch (sorry Gary but it qualifies here) and I'm moving on. You've got it easier than me. You can leave the house and not be in physical pain. You have many options to occupy your mind. Not to mention you have other restaurants offering you meals. They are much better restaurants too. That's a fact not my opinion. Get off the Italian food who likes to make up lies when you are eating it.

Jim

Dave got off the Chinese for the love of God.

Don't apologize to Garry. I'm sure she's called you a dick, an asshole, etc.

We should kidnap Tilly and bring him to a reeducation camp.

Tilly, you are going to starve. You are never going to get that meal. Stop it, and move on.

Well I apologized because Gary is very against the use of the word Bitch towards females. You are right though, the ex of mine has probably called me every word in the book in addition to lying about things I did.

He needs to go to a rehab you are right, or some sort of program to fix his head. I don't know what the hell he see's in that restaurant.

Hey, I know what is going on. You forget I know everything Past and Present.

As for the situation, I’d say sit back and watch things unfold but plan for either out-come. Place no hopes but place no doubt. Treat it like a game of chess. Make small moves and see if your opponent falls into your plan. Nothing large and bold, but nothing small and meaningless. Simple plays here and there. But make sure everything is well thought out and contrived with a level of certainty and efficiency. Remember how things happened in the past and let that sure you in your choice of action in the present.

The mind must be prepared before it can receive what it must do. By mind I mean soul, life force, heart; whatever you accept as your spiritual center. This is something you have to think about, not let other make choices for you. Nobody can use the bathroom for you; you must relieve your suffering in your own way.

That’s my opinion. Take it for what it is worth. I hope I at least helped you somewhat in your plight.

Thank you James, for offering some adivce. I am prepared for either outcome, and I have thought long and hard about what could happen in either event. I like you chess analogy, for that is basically what I have been doing. One day I inch forward, then the next I step back a place to see where the next move is coming from.

Well, every aspect of life is a game of chess in my opinion. Planning is the only way to succeed. I can not tell you what is right for you, but only stand and support you with the choices you make. I had figured that you had already started down the path of action, so I gave the best advice I could.

But remember you must plan for all confrontations no matter how unlikely they seem. Being caught off-guard is the down fall of all chess games. No matter how improbable the move of your opponent might seem, expect it to happen and plan for it.
