Wow... We never get snow on the islands. And I don't remember my birth-home at all, so I've really only had books to go by. It's more beautiful than I imagined

Well, I guess the way it works is ... you get something flat to sit on, like a board or a raft or a sled, and then you launch yourself down a snowy hill on it.

I've never tried it, but it sounds like fun.

There actually was a snowball fight last year, as I recall... perhaps there will be another this year as well.

However, given how extravagant Frost is, I have a feeling that the only way people will be able to go outside is to dig at this rate

I'll probably stay out of the majority of it. I think just watching would be entertaining enough.

I wouldn't get involved myself, since I'd rather avoid being pelted in snow. But yes, watching could prove interesting.

This is true, although it probably won't stop for a while. Acquiring a shovel may be a wise idea at this point.
