Oooo you're in Fukuoka... I had a few online friends i talked to there, but I was no where near there. I was a nanny in Fujisawa for a year, which is about 40 mins south of Tokyo on the coast. I was very lucky to have a number of good yarn shops within an easy train ride of me. My favorite (and most convenient) was in the same building as one of my charge's violin lessons. So every week while she was at violin I would go yarn shopping :P
