This is so painfully good. Ritsuka does a good job of faking normalcy. But the movie...Grave of the Fireflies??? The most depressing movie (or at least anime) ever made? And I admit I found it amusing that he wondered "what kind of manga do normal kids read?" and came up with "Naruto." You can't get more normal than that!

Omigosh Soubi's rescue!! In Ritsuka's situation, Soubi is better than a social worker. "I am Aoyagi Ritsuka's servant." Wow.

Thanks, sweetie! *hugs* Yeah, I figured Grave of the Fireflies would be right up Ritsuka's alley. I've never been able to make myself watch it. Even my sempai warned me against it, and he's totally desensitized. It's one of my friend's favorite movies, though ( ... )

Soubi's entrance had a lot of 'poof' behind it, didn't it. Heheh. The story was very well written and kept what was going on constantly in the mind's eye. Ritsuka was brilliantly IC, even when distressed, which was wonderful to read.

I know, it really is a good thing. It must be the only way Seven Moons gets away with all their craziness. On the one hand, it's good that Soubi can help Ritsuka, but on the other hand, their entire organization ought to be eradicated. It's so screwed up!
