I hate that just because there isn't a slash pairing, the story is Gen. No it bloody is not. 'Slash' shouldn't be treated as a warning - it's a valid pairing. If there aren't any pairing of any kind. THAT is GEN.

LOL< are you referring to an SPN fic or two. Cuz that happens all the time in spn_gen, especially by people who think they're too big to read the rules or follow them.

Pisses me off to no end that if I even list john and mary in my fic, it's het, but people write romantic pairings and sex and put it in the gen comm, because 'it would so happen on the show'.

Well, it actually started with a NCIS fic, but after I posted this, I saw the post in padklesRPS saying something about J2 fic and them welcoming GEN or SLASH.

That annoyed me. Did they mean that HET was not welcome? Cos J2 can be friendship fics right? Or did they, like way too many, think it's right to classify HET as GEN.

I have to admit, I never go to the gen communities as I find they have even more rubbish fic in their midst than the slash communites. So I just go to the authors I know who are good. You being one of them :D

Yeah, padacklesrps has kinda gone to hell since the great mod debacle. I can't honestly take anything seriously that goes on there, now. I don't even post there anymore. Sigh.
