Last night I went to a festival at the Irish American Heritage Center with fuzzilla. A generous neighbor who volunteers there gave me free tickets, and our main objective was to enjoy a performance by The Tossers, who were headlining the main stage, and who are one of my favorite bands ( Read more... )

And I was THERE RIGHT AFTER IT HAPPENED!

...I have such mixed feelings about this show. It was weird. THere was a pit, but not a pit. There was moshing, but moshing wasn't allowed. How could you not have a pit at a Tossers show? But at the same time I'm like STOP SPILLING ON ME I AM ALREADY SWEATY AND GROSS ENOUGH! Because I am a princess.

Agreed! I didn't mind the pit except when it started to have ill-defined boundaries with clumsy dudes bumping into people who were not trying to be bumped into.
