You know, it's refreshing to hear you say that, because I do it quite often as well. However, if I may add on to your thought, I've always found that the details in something like the bark of a tree or the curvature of a plant to be equally fascinating. Even sitting outside and listening to the peepers at night gives so much depth to what you're unable to see.
