Riddle me this!

How can one thread on an apologetics board bemoan the existence of the poor doomed to eternal hell Roman Catholics out there, and in another thread the exact same posters will seriously entertain the notion that Jews who don't become Christians will be saved?

Ha! I just saw your thread today. There's another board that has many of the same folks as RR called raptureforums. I think it is run by Buzzardhut. I swear he could post about blowing his nose and everyone would respond what a great post it was. Anyway, many of them are into messianic judaism and Catholic bashing. One day, an Orthodox Jew came to the board and brought up a bunch of topics relating to Judaism. I just found it kind of odd.

A few months back, I posted a bunch of stuff on their Catholic bashing board and then went to their apologetics board and started a thread about Orthodox Christianity (which I know they don't have a clue about the theology as it does differ from Catholicism on a few points). It was an effort in futility on my part. I was hoping to dispel some of their false assumptions, but found you can't converse with people who tell you what you believe despite being told they have an incorrect understanding.

Ah well! Back to the beach for me. It's very hot, but awesome here. :)
