Never had that happen before!

They closed a thread down in RR apolo because I was apparently posting content that goes against their board rules.

The thread in question:

Didn't see anything that violated the board rules but then I'm thinking of ProphecyFellowship's rules and not the second incarnation of RR-BB.

The first few posts made me somewhat roll my eyes. If the OP can't summarize what she heard at the sermon when some people can't pull up the links then it's all moot isn't it? It's all just going to start a discussion that's way off the point and becomes "Cause I said so." :\

That's why I avoid apologetics. I'm interested in learning but not at that level - way too much for my simple brain to wrap around. ;)

It does get crazy. My biggest issue with apologetics is when people can't stay calm even if they strongly disagree. The second biggest issue is what I call scripture spamming (when people just post lists of verses with no explanation to make their point for them). It's silly because practically everyone on an apolo board feels that scripture backs their personal views the best. There's obviously going to be differences in exegesis, hence the existence of apolo boards. You're not missing out on anything. :)

I left RR when the apolo mods started getting trigger-happy with their thread closing. Coming back, I'm happier with the atmosphere now than it was when I left (about an year ago?). Lisa seems pretty chill, and it's awsome how the apolo thread is no longer members-only to view.
