I've never had a pet that acknowledges the television before. Brandie watches TV and barks at the dogs. I think she even barked at two that she just saw, dogs that were not barking on TV. Weird.. every dog I've had has reacted to the TV, from dogs barking, to door bells/people knocking on doors, one dog even reacted to phones ringing on TV.

When she was much younger, Squirt used to go nuts when hockey was on TV - she'd run to the sides of the TV to see where those little red & white guys went when they skated off screen. Sascha did that to a lesser extent - her hobby is chasing the cursor on the computer screen around.

Oh - other job ideas... since you will be moving early next year, just about every store in the mall will be hiring Xmas help in the next week or two, might not hurt to go to the mall & put in applications everywhere. Get you working again, and you won't have to feel bad about quitting to move, as the hours will be severely cut after the holidays.
