That's what I did after I took this picture. It was rather sunny outside, so I took him out to the green room.
The lighting was a lot better, but I still couldn't get a clear image of him. Yeah, the background was fine.. JUST NOT HIM!

The detail is astounding, but the figure alone is extremely delicate.
When I first opened it, his damn leg came off, which sort of had me spooked. But with a little effort, I popped it back on.
