I generally like air shows but I don't know that going to one a month before a polarized presidential election would be very good for me. Just remember that they're often used as a PR vehicle for the military, and you tend to get a lot of the gung-ho nationalistic types.

Did you see a lot of McCain/Palin buttons or anything?

I can't say that I did, now that you mention it. Most people were covered with tees and other memorabilia from the event itself. I should have thought to do bumper sticker scans.
