so.......i think im finally getting somewhere. Today in my lesson, i did well, and G noticed...........he said "well, you are all done on snare pieces........now its just me being picky." for G thats a very good thing. Also, Jeff Lund (one of our great Grad student percussionists) wants to do a piece with mike and I! on top of that, i got a marimba
