I don't have any specifics in mind for the timing, but I'd like to give people ample time to prepare for it, though! It sounds like it could be a pretty big thing.
Since I mentioned it in chat... Just a random idea is the pretty basic 'deaging' idea-- Characters become their younger selves, with no memories of their adult life. It tends to be a good way to show/hint at various backstories and form new connections, since a lot of characters are different in childhood.
I'm not sure! It's really one of those things you don't so much run as you write the explanation and let people go wild for a time, so I don't thiiink it'd matter much when it went up as long as it didn't interfere with other people's plots? If there needs to be a reason/plot behind it, it can be probably built into another plot as a side-effect, or I can try and work something out.
Playing on the whole Genero is trying to make everyone believe Promenade is better for them then their own worlds. At one point it would be fun, for the players not the characters, if a way to show this is to have bad memories being broadcasted from random characters (aka those who volunteer) as exhibit A on why following the rules and such is much better then the world back home.
Then progresses into "people" saying how much better they are for what Genero has done for them, and "failed" attempts of leaving in the form of monsters and such 'escaping'.
/rolls out and prepared to be shot if you already thought of such.
Dunno if this counts but. I'm thinking of getting my character tested somehow but I'm at a loss of how to do it. Obviously he's not going to refuse to wear his make because he's seen what that can do but I'm wondering is there any other way or any rule that he can break to get himself in that kind of trouble?
There are plenty of other ways he can break the rules in Promenade- it just depends on what you're looking for as a player. Things such as hurting other people, threatening the King/Queen repeatedly, actually hurting them, openly opposing all rules that are made since the new arrivals have come in, etc. If there's anything in particular you're looking for, feel free to contact us!
Unfortunately, no. Genero's one of those tough cases to crack- he's a troll king after all, so most remarks bounce off of him easily and don't bother him. If you want to find a way to nag him, attempts to get into the Unnatural quite often do wonders.
1. Done and done- the suggestions post is now on the profile page. &hearts
2. Yes, I'll go and clear that up via modpost- I have a couple of things to address there anyways, so what better way to do it then all in one swoop? Tags are for each post your character is in, regardless if they write the post or reply.
3. I apologize so much for that, as I know how frustrating it can be to not be answered by one of them. In the future it probably will be done by more than one person, just so we can handle the sheer amount of questions asked/reactions placed, because two pages of comments can be very intimidating. This doesn't excuse us from the current situation, and we'll do our best to get more done next time.

I'd love to have a P4 related event where fog rolls through Promenade and people have to confront their shadows, and also shadow monsters and so on.
... that sounds relatively bare-bones, but I can write up a huge plot detail/plot with the mod for it if it seems like a good idea? YEAH. :|b
