ashes and snow is amazing. i feel like i've dreamt it, seen the same things in my crazy india dreams from which i hardly ever want to wake from.

exactly. the gallery itself is very dream-like, too. it's built on a pier -- just one long hallway with the photographs on either side. the walls and pillars are made of recycled shipping containers, and the air moves freely. it feels some sort of magestic cave. each photograph is hung from the very top of the high ceilings with rope, so the images sway in the wind. natural light shines through cracks in the walls and forms pretty patterns on the floor. and the music, the smells! i wish you could see it.
