Aww, that's really sweet of you to comment. I *really* do not expect any of my flist to read this; it'd make no sense whatsoever unless you were a fan. That said, yup, it's helping me get back into writing and that feels pretty good although I doubt I'll have the kind of output I had with XF, but it'd sure be nice.
Good to know that our muses are back on the job! I've still got a problem with trying to *finish* anything, but at least I manage to write in bits and pieces. Hope you get that crossover done soon!
It's another reason to keep the weight down, for sure.
Oh, thank you! I'm delighted that you like it. That scene always makes me cringe. This was my version of having them 'in character' so I'm very pleased that you thought they were, too!
Oh yes, I likes this a lot! Nice to turn the scene into a 'sweet' friendship moment instead of the sort of creating rifts thing it had been before. I think you're right, Vin would've known better than to approach Ez with such a delicate request if our dear depressed boy was drunk and distracted with his own problems. Plus, this is just good insight as to why the game was so upsetting to Ezra to begin with. Excellent rewrite, my good lil cheerleader! ;)
Delighted that you like it, alex! Yeah, that scene was just...not right! Our boys are more sensitive than that, for heaven's sake. Anyway, it felt good to tinker with it; ah, fanfic!
Looking forward to your opus! :D Don't forget, due TOMORROW!
