Thanks! I did it in 2012 too, which was my first winning one. Neither that one not this were technically novels though - the 2012 was a collection of short stories that all led on from one another, but this year's was just my personal wordcount, all the things I wrote creatively in November added up to 57,168, so I feel like it still counts. They were all finished bar one, anyway :D

That's really impressive! I never knew about that. Did you end up posting any of your short stories here on LJ? I think that word count definitely counts if you want it to :D
Thanks for the encouragement! I hope so too. I'm the worst at it. Now that I've thought about it, my failure rate for NaNo and Camp NaNo is pretty impressive. Oh well. My minimum word count was probably 0, because I'm such a great writer that I don't even need words. :P
