yea.. well i dont really have that problem, its kinda the other way around like that guy in the video store ugh! that was so scary! he thought i was 18?? no way! lol im 14!! but im sorry people think that u are younger than u are... it must suck like when u go to get a job and stuff and they dont believe ur 18! well ttyl hail. luv ya. <33 natalie
ugh...my least favorite was when i was shopping for a dress to go to a wedding in...in like april...so ALL of the store clerks asked if i was going to prom, where it was, who i was going with...blah blah blah...i HATE it.
on the flipside, at that same wedding, the bartenders didn't card me...go figure. :)
but again, at the movies, people will comment ALL the time. one time some older ladies were in talking about incompentant teenagers and one of them said to me, something like, at least you're not one of them...so i had to reply with, no, i've been removed from "teenage" for a few years already. they were sooo surprised to learn i was 21...
hehe, that is pretty humorous.... i find it very amusing that you can be on both extreme ends in one day... i guess everyone has a phase where they don't look their age... or atleast it sounds that way. hopefully we grow out of it at some point (or not ;)
ps.... when's julie's party again? i seem to remember june 17...
dude.... i don't know why i thought that it was the seventeenth. i am afraid that i won't be here on the 18th... i am going to mt pleasant for the day. darnit. oh well, thank you very much for the invitation... i wish i could come, please send julie my appologies. i hope you guys have a rockin time!!
I think my personal favorite of the summer (besides the one guy in the drug store about the Schmirnoff) was when I went to get pizza with my mom and my brother and there was a drawing and the lady said you had to be atleast 18 to enter and she looks and me and my brother and says "and neither of you are 18 are you?" buy says it in that way like there was no way I could be even 18. Ugh.
Someone thought Adam was like 17 right after he got his hair cut short tho, and he's 22 :P ... And Chris always gets hit on by young waitresses who don't realize he's 42 :P
I am worried that people won't be able to tell I'm older than Rachel now that she's taller. *sniff*
But who cares? It's like a compliment, you're off at college and dealing with all this stuff but you can still retain your cheery youthful outlook... right? Suuuure! Yay!
you are so right. poor adam though... no... wait, he should take it the same way... good for him for looking so youthful and full of energy. i understand about looking like rachel though... i could see how that could happen... but you still have a more mature look as of now... so don't worry. i worry about the same thing with nat... some guy went up to her in the movie store and asked her how old she was... he was like... whoa, i totally thought you were 18... you look really good. needless to say she was a little creeped out.
Ahhh! I get the same thing all the time. I guess since I've been wearing my glasses, I look somewhat more like my age though.
One time, I went to a hairdresser, and she thought I was fifteen years old. Needless to say, that made me angry. But yes, I feel your pain, and I understand how that goes. But at least, we don't look like old fogeys, so I guess to works out. :D
