Are Hermiones better than Pansies?
The answer is a resounding NO!
The Pansy Parkinsons of the world add just as much as the Hermione Grangers. It's all a matter of perspective and balance. - Sea Isle Witch
I'm different from Granger, and despite what you think, that doesn't make me an evil person. I don't need to save the world, but I'll make sure my friends and family are fine because, in the end, that affects me too. People are naturally drawn to me, and either they like me or they don't; I don't care either way. If you aren't a true friend, then you won't get to know the real me.
I have a wonderful sense of humour. We Slytherins are always looking for a good laugh. Sometimes we create the humourous scenarios, but other times, we just watch as the others provide our entertainment. The Gryffindors are our biggest competition in academics and athletics, among other things, so naturally we tend to focus our pranks on them.
I was chosen to be a Slytherin Prefect for several reasons. First, I'm the acknowledged leader of a significant number of Slytherin witches. Simply put, I'm a socially savvy pure-blood who is held in high regard by my peers. Second, I'm clever and cunning. I might not be as bookish as Granger, but I'm bright enough for our Head of House, Professor Severus Snape. Maybe you've heard of him? If you have, I'm sure you will understand that he doesn't suffer fools well, and he would never appoint a student/faculty liaison who would irritate him. Third, the male and female Prefects must be able to work together, so mutual respect and the willingness to cooperate must exist between them. Draco and I are a unified team, and together, we have the moxie to represent Slytherin House well.
As far as my appearance goes, I am attractive--pretty and vivacious even, according to Rita Skeeter. Draco certainly thinks I'm pleasing. How do I know? Well, of course he's told me, but Draco is very concerned with appearances, so he must like my face, hair, nose, and figure--and my personality. This is evidenced by the fact that he is always near me and obviously enjoys my attentions. He loves when I dote on him--especially when he's injured physically or emotionally, and he is fond of my loving caresses--even when I pet him in front of our mutual friends. Don't forget it was me who he invited to the Yule Ball, the social event of our entire school experience. Draco would never be seen with someone who is unacceptable in appearance and heritage. Neither would I.
To set the record straight, once and for all, my dress robes for the Yule Ball were lovely. They were pale pink and very feminine, which was a pleasant contrast to Draco's black velvet robes. And while I'm on the subject of the Yule Ball, I would never clutch Draco's arm. I am well-bred and know how to present myself and my companion in the best possible light on such an occasion--even during the Yule Ball when I was only fourteen years old. Only the unrefined would think that my actions were something different.
Someday, I will live happily at Malfoy Manor with my adoring husband, Draco, and our three perfect children. Draco and I have that something extra that a match on parchment could never convey. We have true love: passion, mutual respect, and unconditional acceptance and understanding. Together, we will face the rather tremendous obstacles that lie ahead, and we will emerge stronger and more in love. I assure you, Draco and I will live the life to which we are entitled--together.
Thank you, Miss Parkinson.
