Tomorrow I will be in the city hospital having an important bit of my insides removed - nothing sinister, it's a big lump that's not supposed to be there. After a few days in hospital, I will hopefully be out, and then have 4 to 6 weeks to recover before going back to work.

I'm fasting now before the op tomorrow, and to keep my mind off it all, I've been writing King Arthur fic and playing Gauntlet on the old Xbox.
