I think that you have a right to be a bit selfish when it comes to this issue. There are certain needs you have in a relationship and this is one of them. Deman high standards, just not impossible ones. I don't think this is an unreasonable one.
We all have changed a lot. I don't think that's something I wanna do for a while. It made me feel icky for a lack of better words.
