I'm starting to think that the 'creatures' aren't the things to be careful of, it's some of the residents.
This place isn't particularly pleasant, that's unavoidable with everything that happens, but...some of the people here seem to be the real monsters.

I guess that's to be expected... There always seems to be a group of monsters lurking

It is only a matter of time and opportunity, a lost battle of wills, before such a thing presents itself.

Most people have enough sense to not flaunt bodies and death to people who shouldn't need to witness those things.

Some do embrace it altogether, without shame.

Perhaps the public reaction, specifically the lack of intervention, is the weightier thing to consider.

I'm not considering anything of the sort. If someone kills for their personal reasons, so be it, but making a show of it isn't right.

I don't care who or why, people shouldn't be doing it.
