New life experiences: doctor fishes nibbling my feet and visiting a cat hotel

For my birthday last year, three friends of mine gave me a special kind of spa treatment involving getting my feet nibbled by Doctor Fishes and then bathing in a heated pool outdoors with various intricate bubbles massaging our bodies.
The Spa in question was Ulvstorps Gårds Spa, where they also have a cat hotel a B&B (for two-leggers) and breed

The cat hotel really was very nice, I almost felt like settling in there myself, with a good book and a blanket!

The fish treatment sounds divine! (I too have pleasant memories of the tickly feel of are-you-something-we-can-eat? investigations of minnows while wading or swimming in the river on our farm)

What a lovely place in so many ways ... just reading this post is relaxing. :-)

It really was divine, I felt relaxed for days after, in spite of moving furniture, and my feet are still in good shape!

So BEAUTIFUL is the landscape! Lovely candleabra too. Also-I love the fish pictures. The fish idea freaks me the hell out, but those are sweet shots.

heh, my friend M was freaked out by the fishes and had some spazzy fits when trying to sink her feet down into the water, after a while the fishes noticed this and stopped trying to treat her feet, they felt unsafe around her, and then M felt jealous that only the other 3 of us had lots of fish on our feet, so toward the end she promptly put her foot down into a big cluster. She went from being freaked out, to feeling cheated that there were too few fish on her!!
