Oscar night was spent watching red-carpet fashion of the celebs, but we who watched decided that Gertrude was cuter than any actor or supermodel and that she had a lot of fancy fashion to show off. what a cute little dog! My cats are adorable but they won't let me play dress-up with them! The little doggie socks are too much! :)))

Gertude is adorable, and so patient! I love cats too, and use to be a cat owner, but like you said, the most I could ever do to them was put a ribbon on them on Christmas. Little Gertie is easily cold and likes sweaters, but the socks..yeah, they just stay on for the photo shoot. :)

There's a family in the building here with two of them. And their cuteness turns me into a pile of baby-talking-mush every time I see them. It's those fast wagging tails, the waddle, and their tongues hanging out when they see me coming that does it.

I KNOW!! After the first time I dog-sat her, I had ridiculous withdrawal symptoms and had to join some on line dachshund sites to curb them. And they are so disarmingly happy when they're happy.
