Failure to Thrive
I'm not sure what to call this post. It's definitely an Op/Ed. It involves the level of accuracy/quality of clothing at reenactments. This issue was brought to mind this weekend when I attended a small Rendezvous near Chicago. Once Again- Fabulous Shoes
American Duchess is taking pre-orders on her new 'Pompadour'shoes which are a hard to find late 17th-early 18th century style.....and absolutely beautiful! She is also offering ivory Kensingtons to augment the red and black Kensingtons which are now available. I have a pair of red Kensingtons winging their way towards me right now. Shoe Shopping!
I'm boosting the signal for American Duchess period shoes. She has just begun pre-ordering for her newest 18th century shoe- The Kensington. The red version is just scrummy! I have a pair of her Georgianas and a pair of her Devonshires and they are exceptionally comfortable. I'm looking forward to giving them a serious field trial this season.(Untitled)
